CARNATIC MUSIC

Carnatic music is one of the oldest and most profound classical traditions from South India, with its roots in the Sama Veda – the Veda of melodies. It is founded on the principle of Nada, the sacred vibration of sound that connects the mind and soul. Its notes, ragas, and rhythmic patterns are thoughtfully structured to cultivate focus, calm, creativity, and discipline through melody. The composition in Carnatic music created by great saints, help students stay connect to their cultural roots while bringing joy, devotion, and inner harmony into their lives.

TAMIL LANGUAGE

Tamil is one the world’s longest surviving classical languages. It has a rich literacy tradition including the Sangam literature, which is further divided into categories like Aham (internal/love) and Puram (external/heroism, Tamil is a unique language without any blend from other languages.

The Tamil language has 247 letters. From those letter perfectly form written Tamil and spoken Tamil

Bharatnatyam

BHARATANATYAM

Bharatanatyam is one India’s oldest and most renowned classical dance forms, originating over 2,00 years ago in the temples of Tamil Nadu in South India. Traditionally performed by Devadasis – women dedicated to temple service – Bharathnatyam was deeply entwined with rituals and spiritual devotion, particular in honour of Lord Shiva as Nataraja, the cosmic dancer. 

 

The theoretical framework of Bharathnatyam comes form the ancient text, the Natya Shahstra, which outlines its sophisticated expressiveness, technical movements, and symbolic hand gestures called mudras. the dance is characterized by a fixed upper torso, bent legs, in the aramandi posture, rhythmic footwork , and a rich vocabulary of gestures and facial expressions. Performances combine pure dance (nrita), expressive dnace (nritya), and dramatic storytelling (natya), often accompanied by a live orchestra and elaborate costumes.

HINDUISM

Hinduism is based on the Vedas. There are four Vedas, Rigveda, Yajurveda Samaveda and Atharvaveda.

These four Vedas are the oldest. And Divine worship emerged based on these four Vedas.

Shaivism , Vaishnavism , Shaktism , Kaumarism , Ganabhaktism, Sauram are six main religions in Hinduism. Shaivism is the religion that considers Lord Shiva is the supreme God, similarly

Vaishnavism which regards Vishnu as the supreme God, Shaktism’ s supreme God is Shakthi, Kaumarism’s supreme God is Kaarthikeyan, Ganabhaktism’s supreme God is Ganesha, and Sauram’s supreme God is the Sun.

The Vedas are revealed by the wisemen. and Vedas attempt to explore the creation of the world, by whom was created the universe, also what is the God? What are the characteristics of the God?

Moreover, what is the nature of living things? Why did they appear? How should living things live? How should they not live? That all narrows down

In short, the Vedas speak the truth about the God, living things and the Universe
