OUR MISSION

The charitable purpose is to sustain and develop Indian cultures such as traditional dancing, music, and language learning such as Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Punjabi. As many people get Westernized, they may forget these Indian traditions and cultures, which we work  to prevent and maintain this from happening in future generations. Moreover, it works to promote original yoga a meditation such as pranayama, developing education institute and research such as learning more about the traditions, and how to create a peaceful, more relaxing community in Alberta. Additionally, this will help the youth and current generations understand and help preserve these traditions even in a modern environment. Sustaining these traditions is significant to this society because it helps us promote more diversity in the world.


The Karumari Amman Society also works to contribute a sense of comfort and belonging by bringing families together and enabling people to reconnect with friends, promoting freedom, faith integrity, quality education, personal accountability, strong work ethic, selfless to serve the community in a positive manner
